Security Notice
Why Windows Shows a Warning
This is normal for new applications
When installing VGS Hub, Windows SmartScreen may display a security warning. This is completely normal and does not mean the application is unsafe.
Windows uses a reputation-based system to protect users. New applications need to build up trust through downloads before SmartScreen stops showing warnings. Since VGS Hub is brand new, we haven't accumulated enough downloads yet to establish this reputation.
We are actively working on obtaining an Extended Validation (EV) Code Signing Certificate. While the certificate itself takes a few weeks to obtain, the application still needs to build reputation through user downloads before SmartScreen warnings disappear completely.
How to Install
- When the SmartScreen popup appears, click "More info"
- Click "Run anyway" to proceed with the installation
